Last light lily

Took this lily flower at Marlow Lagoon this afternoon, just as the last rays of sunlight were lighting it up. I didn't notice the little water skipper bugs on the lily pad below when I took the photo.

Dry Season Sunset

A typical dry season sunset with lots of smoke and dust in the atmosphere to give the sky a bit of colour.  I took this evening on the Scotts Creek road.  Nikon D800E with a 300/4 lens.

Topend jungle creek

I don't know the name of this creek I found on the side of the Scott's Creek road a fair way in, but the natural undisturbed jungle and the soft glow of the late afternoon light made me think it worth capturing.
